Teacher Cologne

A: "Ms. L, you smell like my math teacher from last year."
Me: [raises eyebrows questioningly]
A: "I mean... I don't know, I can't describe it. You just have the same smell as my old math teacher."
Me: "It's the math teacher cologne. They give it to us when we get our teaching certificates."
Y: "That's not true, is it?"
Me: "Oh yeah, when I went to that math conference a few weeks ago I got a new bottle."

Ha!

(We get new bottles of early music cologne every two years around here.)

So what is eau de math teacher? (Or eau de early music for that matter?) I imagine math teacher smells a little like chalk--or dry erase marker--with something exciting for new math discoveries.

(Early music maay be a little musty to get that early era feel plus some intense scents to cover up the less pleasing odors of the era. Not too sweet but definately floral.)

Actually, Geetha, that is a high complement if your student finds your odor familiar and comforting in some way.

I wonder what eau de English teacher or eau de school librarian smells like? Loved your response.
